Parental Controls for Jackpocket

Parental Controls for Jackpocket

Jackpocket is only available to eligible users who are 18 and older (21+ in some states). If you share a device with others in your household, iOS and Android offer built-in parental controls that offer an additional layer of security by restricting access to the Jackpocket app.

iOS — Screen Time

Apple's Screen Time feature lets you restrict app access with a passcode only you know.

To block Jackpocket:

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time
  2. Tap Turn On Screen Time if not already enabled
  3. Tap App Limits > Add Limit
  4. Select the Gambling & Betting category, or search for Jackpocket specifically
  5. Set a daily time limit of 1 minute, then tap Add
  6. Enable Block at End of Limit, and set a Screen Time Passcode when prompted

To block all new app downloads:

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions
  2. Enable restrictions, then tap iTunes & App Store Purchases
  3. Set Installing Apps to Don't Allow

Tip: Use Family Sharing (Settings > [Your Name] > Family Sharing) to manage a child's device remotely from your own iPhone without needing physical access to their device.

Android — Google Family Link

Google Family Link enables parents to monitor a child's Google account and any Android device they're signed into.

To block Jackpocket via Family Link:

  1. Install the Google Family Link app on your device
  2. Set up supervision for your child's Google account
  3. In Family Link, select your child's account and tap Controls > App activity
  4. Find Jackpocket and tap Block

To restrict app installs by age rating:

  1. On the child's device, open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap the profile icon > Settings > Family > Parental controls
  3. Turn on parental controls and set a PIN
  4. Under Apps & games, set the maximum rating to Everyone or Teen

Tip: Family Link also lets you set daily screen time limits and bedtime schedules, and approve or deny any new app download requests in real time.
